Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Support/Service Manager who is passionate about customer service and possesses strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and implementing effective support strategies, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. This role is pivotal in driving sales through effective upselling techniques and growing clients' accounts, as well as managing our social media channels to enhance customer engagement and brand visibility.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer support strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the customer support team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily operations of the customer support department, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Monitor and analyse customer support metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and address any cross-functional issues.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Train and develop team members on best practices and company policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in customer support.
  • Encourage and train the customer support team to upsell additional products and services, contributing to increased sales and revenue.
  • Develop and implement strategies for upselling and cross-selling to maximize customer value.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow clients' accounts by understanding their needs and recommending additional products or services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage and oversee the company’s social media channels, ensuring timely and engaging content is posted regularly.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media strategies and make adjustments as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer support or service management role, preferably in the hair or beauty industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective customer support strategies.
  • Proficiency in customer support software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in sales or upselling techniques is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow clients' accounts and increase sales through effective relationship management.
  • Experience managing social media channels and creating engaging content.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and metrics.
