Match your wedding hairstyle to your face shape

It's crucial to start with this step. It's worth exploring when looking for the perfect hairstyle for your wedding if you want to feel great and look stunning as a guest! Here is some basic advice:

  •         most often there are five types of face shapes: oval, round, square, triangular and drawn (oblong),
  •         The oval face is considered to be the most proportional face and basically all types of wedding hairstyles go well with it,
  •         The round face shape likes slimming wedding hairstyles - not sleek hair,
  •         Square faces like the softer hairstyles - asymmetric hairstyles for weddings are fine,
  •         angular face shapes like hair with more volume - a high chignon is not recommended,
  •         Pointed faces prefer bridal hairstyles, which optically shorten the face - long straight hair is not a good choice.

Great party hairstyles that will grab attention

An invitation to a party brings with it a set of preparations that you need to start making - choosing an outfit, and then accessories and shoes to go with the dress. When choosing the perfect dress and the right earrings and bracelets, we often forget to pay attention to the hairstyle. In most cases, it takes so much time to decide and finally choose the outfit, accessories and shoes that very little time is left for the hairstyle, so most of us choose the safe option that won't take too much time. However, what if we told you that there are DIY hairstyles for which you don't need to visit a salon, in fact you can do it yourself without any hassle? Don't believe us? Trendy hairstyles for long hair

When you have long hair and want to attend an event, your biggest dilemma is perhaps what hairstyle to choose. After all, one of the biggest advantages of having long hair is that you can style it in many ways. All you need is a few styling tools based on the hairstyle of your choice and you're done! Your search for the perfect party hairstyle for long hair ends here, because here are a few options that are doable while adding the X factor to your overall look.

Modern Chignon

Whether it's a cocktail party or a professional event, a wavy chignon is the perfect piece to add a chic touch to your entire look. Although it looks a bit complicated, this party hairstyle is easy to do.

What do you need?

A hair dryer

  •         Hair gel
  •         Boar bristle brush
  •         An elastic hairband
  •         Hair clips
  •         Hairspray

How to do it?

To recreate this hairstyle, start by blow drying your hair with a volumizing gel. Once that's done, create a side parting about two inches deep, tease the crown, and then style your hair into a low ponytail. Attach the ponytail with an elastic, then divide it into three sections, gently braiding each section. Wrap hair into a loose bun, curl toward the elastic, and pin in place. Set with hairspray. There you have it! Wasn't that easy?

Side-swept curls

Who doesn't love curls pulled to the side? If you have long hair and want to opt for an open style, this one is a great choice! You can have open hair and look fashionable at the same time - isn't that wonderful? Try this hairstyle for a party when you are aiming for an elegant look.

What do you need?

  •         A hair dryer
  •         Curling iron
  •         Hairspray

How to do it?

Blow dry your hair in sections and then wrap it around a large brush. Then create a deep side part. Next, use a curling iron and start by rolling two-inch strands of hair away from your face. Continue until you're done curling everything. Use your fingers to break up the curls and then use hairspray to hold the style in place.

2 side buns

If you're looking for a party hairstyle that is both casual, fun, and fashionable, then the mid-space buns are for you! This is one hairstyle that will let you flaunt your long hair while giving you a different way to style it.

What do you need?

  •         An elastic hair band
  •         Hair pins
  •         Hairspray
  •         A straightener (optional)

How to do it?

Brush your hair to make it smooth, then make a part in the middle. Clearly separate the left and right sides of your hair. Then pull the right side of your hair into a loose bun so it doesn't get in the way. Now you start with the space buns! Make a ponytail halfway down the left side. Create a horizontal section on that side, about at eyebrow level. Pull the hair above the section into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic band. Next, twist the ponytail into a bun, rolling it into a string-like shape, and secure it with a hairband. Remember, the tighter you twist, the smaller your bun will be. Now go back to the right side of your hair, detach that temporary bun and repeat the above process for that side. Make another ponytail halfway up, wrap it in a bun and secure it with another elastic hair tie. You can straighten the open hair if you like. If the buns are loose, secure them with hair clips. Once you're happy with the overall look, apply some hairspray and you're all set with your space buns!

Romantic waves

When you want a hassle-free hairstyle that requires minimal effort, yet still looks elegant loose beach waves is what you should go for! For long hair, this party hairstyle is an absolute winner that will make any kind of outfit shine.

What do you need?

  • A curling iron
  • Heat protectant

How to do it?

Properly comb your hair and apply a heat protectant. Start curling your hair with the curling iron. Hold your hair in the iron for about 3-5 seconds and then roll it into large sections, leaving about two inches at the end. Remember to roll in large sections because the larger the sections, the looser the waves. Hold the curling iron at a 45-degree angle while you wait for the hair to curl, then slide it off. Repeat until you're done with all your hair, and you'll have perfect beach waves!
