How often should you wash your hair with shampoo?

It is recommended that you shampoo your hair at least once a week to remove styling product residue, dead skin cells and other impurities. Hair may need to be washed more often depending on physical activity such as aerobics or another outdoor exercise, but also due to sweat, pollen or dirt. However, be careful not to wash your hair too often as you can deprive your hair of its natural moisture, which can cause dry hair and scalp.

Does the shampoo I use make a difference?

There are many types of shampoos on the market designed for different types of hair, with different structures and styling needs. There are shampoos for dry hair, for strengthening hair colour, or shampoos that neutralize chemical treatments. When it comes to a general shampoo, it's best to look for one that gently cleanses and nourishes hair, rather than deprives it of essential nutrients. For hair extensions, we recommend using a special shampoo.

How often should I use a hair mask?

How often should I use a hair mask?

The hair mask should be used at least once a month. Gently shampoo your hair, then apply conditioner so that it completely saturates hair from the scalp to the ends. Leave it on the hair for 15-20 minutes under a thin plastic or thermal "cap" to allow the conditioner to penetrate the scalp and go deep into the hair shaft. Rinse your hair well and style it as desired.
If you have hair extensions, it is worth using a special mask  - it has been specially developed to extend the durability of natural hair extensions and give them a healthy, vital look. This mask will make your hair incredibly soft and preserve its colour depth. We recommend using this mask every two weeks, or more often if needed, as an intensive moisturizing treatment.

How do I determine my "hair type"?

Determining your hair type on your own isn’t easy, so we suggest using the help of a professional stylist. The stylist can examine samples of individual strands from your head and test tensile strength and elasticity, as well as wet and dry hair to see how it reacts to varying temperatures and treatments. Hair strands vary in diameter and thickness, as well as natural curl patterns that define them as thin, medium or thick.

How to choose the right hair care?

Watch how your hair reacts to the products and styling tools you use.  Is your hair full of volume, shiny, smooth and strong regardless of length? Take photos of your head periodically to monitor the condition of your hair. Listen to comments from others as they are often an indication of whether you have chosen the right hair care for you, your lifestyle and your personality.

How to make my hair grow?

How to make my hair grow?

Hair growth is affected by both internal and external factors. Significant factors include hormonal changes, genetic predisposition, thermal styling or medications taken. However, in most cases, hair grows but due to breakage and split ends this growth isn’t noticeable.
What can be done to speed up hair growth? Well, if you want it to grow as if by magic, then opt for hair extensions - with our products it's a safe decision. If, on the other hand, you want to grow your hair naturally and wait until it reaches the length you want, take care of it by using a thermal protection serum, protein spray and argan oil for hair.

How to take care of dry hair and scalp?

Dry hair and scalp can be a matter of genetics, diet, water intake, climate and overall health! However, you can reach for treatment with cosmetics that will help you moisturize your hair and take care of a dry scalp.
Firstly, wash your hair as often as you need  - not more often. Don’t succumb to trends and the fashion for washing your hair every day if you don’t need it.
Secondly, use a conditioner every time you wash your hair. To intensify the moisturizing effect, you can additionally spray towel-dried hair with a leave-in conditioner.
Thirdly, make sure the material of the pillow you sleep on is right. A silk pillowcase that won't rub or electrify your hair will work best.
Additionally, washing your hair with very hot water can damage your hair as it can physically remove the natural oils deep in the hair shaft and irritate your scalp. It is best to use warm water to wash your hair and a little cooler for the final rinse.

Can I care for my hair too much?

Yes, over-nourishing hair can lead to it being limp and lifeless. An excessive amount of conditioner can weigh your hair down by covering its surface. This can make it difficult to style it properly and affect the hair's ability to hold curls.  As with anything else, moderation should be exercised and care should be tailored to individual preferences.
