    CHOOSING THE RIGHT OIL

The keys to success in oiling your hair are: the best oiling technique for your hair, regularity and choosing the right oil. Many people test a few or even more than a dozen different oils before they finargan oil d their ideal, so if you are not satisfied with the effects of the first oil - do not be discouraged, but patiently search, test and check.

The choice of potentially suitable oils for our hair is narrowed by the degree of hair porosity - this is the basic criteria, which should be taken into account when choosing a cosmetic product. The most versatile product is argan oil for hair. Remember, best hair oil is a product adapted to hair porosity.

    OILING TECHNIQUES

Hair can be oiled throughout its length (including the scalp), from ear to tip and at the very ends. There are several basic techniques to perform this procedure, although advanced and long-time "hair geeks" describe more of them. Here are the most important and most commonly used:

    OILING HAIR DRY

Many people begin the adventure with oiling with this method - it is simple, quick, does not require skill or experience. When you apply oil to dry strands you can clearly see which parts of the hair have already been treated and which have not yet been treated, so there is little risk of applying the wrong amount of the product (when it comes to the right amount of oil, be careful: too much oil will weigh hair down and too little will not work effectively enough).

The oil should be applied to unwashed hair, but importantly, the hair should not be weighed down with styling products, such as hairspray, mousse or gel. Hair that has not been washed for two to three days is also not the most suitable for the treatment. It is best to oil your hair the day after shampooing without using any styling products.

With this method, you need to rub a few drops of oil into your hands and thoroughly distribute it through your hair. Leave the product in for 1-3 hours or even overnight if your hair is very dry and damaged and needs a maximum dose of moisture.

    OILING DAMP HAIR

The oil is applied evenly to damp hair. When the hair is wet, gently remove excess water to prevent it from dripping, and then apply the product. Wrap your hair in a shower cap or a towel to allow the warmth to soak up the liquid goodness even more readily. Leave the product on your hair for at least 30 minutes or, if you have more time and the opportunity for a more intensive treatment, rinse out the oil after an hour or two.

    OIL ON CONDITIONER

    This technique has several variations:

    - Apply oil to dry or damp hair and conditioner on top of the oil

    - Apply a conditioner to the hair and then oil on top of the conditioner

    - add a few drops of oil to the conditioner (do not overdo the quantity), mix the two preparations and apply the whole thing to the hair.

In all cases, the applied product should be kept on your hair for at least 20-30 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly afterwards.

    OILING WITH A MIST

Mix oil with water (or, alternatively, with an herbal infusion) at a ratio of 2.5-5ml per 250ml. Spray the result onto damp hair, avoiding the scalp. This method of oiling is a very gentle variant. It successfully completes and complements the deep oiling.

    OILING WITH A SERUM

You can use, for example, our serum for low, medium and high-pored hair. Mix three ingredients - oil, water and conditioner or mask in a 1:1:1 ratio. Pour the ready mixture into a spray bottle and spray it onto dry hair. After about an hour, wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo.

    WASHING OIL OUT OF HAIR

For beginners, this can be a somewhat tricky task. Oil does not mix with water, so no matter how much water you use, it will not be enough to wash the oily substance out of your hair.

A proven method is to emulsify the product. How does this work? Rinse your oil-covered hair with warm water and apply a conditioner or hair mask. Leave the treatment on for 15-30 minutes and then thoroughly rinse out the conditioner/mask, shampoo and gently rinse your hair

There should be no oil left in your hair after this process, but if you have any doubts as to whether your hair has been completely rinsed out, there are a few ways to find out:

First, when you have washed your hair and the water is still running out, use a paper towel to wring the water out of the ends of your hair.

Second: If water takes a few times longer to trickle out of your hair after shampooing than in its no-oil state, it's a sign that your hair is still slightly greasy.

Third: when a cotton towel or t-shirt (sometimes used as a towel) applied to the hair does not absorb excess water within a few minutes, there is most likely oil residue on the hair and a second wash is needed.

Fourth: Unsuccessful hair shampooing will result in unsightly pods when the hair dries/dry.

At first, the emulsification process may seem complicated, time consuming and labour-intensive. Don't be discouraged - this technique is very effective and practice makes perfect (in this case, it will happen in no time). It is also important to choose the right conditioner and shampoo - let the former not contain silicones, and the latter SLS (strong detergents that are not good for the skin and hair).

Here, incidentally, we recommend our products that meet these guidelines and work effectively and gently at the same time - a universal shampoo and a smoothing conditioner.

If you are looking to invest in human hair extension treatments, be sure to take proper care of your hair. Hair oiling is extremely helpful in the fight for beautiful and healthy hair, but remember about the hair extension aftercare.
